Tips for Newbies

Here are some tips for new fairies!

• Definitely read the Rules and Guidelines page and ask questions. There are very important rules on there about where we can flier and things to make the experience more enjoyable.
• Drink lots of water. Atlanta is hot!
• Bring snacks.
• Wear comfortable shoes, or at least carry shoes to change in to.
• Have a place to put the fliers. They are typically 4″x6″ in size
• Have a plan, and add lots of extra time to get from one place to another.
• Add the events from the Fairy Events page to the DragonCon app calendar to help keep track of things.
• Be aware of how large your wings are and how difficult it will to get through crowds. Make sure they are sturdy enough so if(/when) someone accidentally runs into them, both the person and the wings will be alright.
• Most people we offer a flier to are nice, but if they are not nice, if possible, please just move on. We are representatives of the band, and any combative behavior will reflect poorly.
• This is an amazing group that is more like a family. Welcome to the Fairies!
